Procurement and partnerships

Fiji Procurement Office
We are currently involved in establishing a Fiji Procurement Office within the Fijian Ministry of Finance, including organisational structure and detailed staffing competency requirements, procurement policies and processes, training needs analysis, and a training programme, while transitioning the closure of Fiji’s Government Supplies Department.

Waterview Connection twin road tunnel Public Private Partnership (PPP)
We assisted the Treasury to develop the business case for the Waterview Connection twin road tunnel proposal, including its procurement as a PPP.

Experience relevant to Public Sector Comparator development
We have experience in costing and pricing, the use of methodologies such as activity based costing and in the preparation of cost benefit analysis and business cases.  We have applied these to support initiatives in both the public and private sectors including the Maori Trust Office and Toll Rail.

Option Appraisal and Business Case Development
Our staff have conducted a large number of service delivery reviews for local government that have considered externally constracted service delivery. Our staff have also contributed to assessments of strategic alliances in the commercial and R&D space, assessing readiness and development of new alliances to achieve specific commercial goals (market entry and technology commercialisation), and cost benefit analysis and options for the procurement of IT systems.
